For all of the good graces that have helped the year 2011 see the fifth anniversary of Cannibals, and the rise of new thinking about just how to continue the community cohesion, I want to thank each of you who participated in the gallery. Special thanks to Greg Hanson for all of the hard work he has put in as a volunteer on making the newsletters an offer to everyone, and to David Kennedy who masters the leading edge of our cyber fitness, maintaining the domain. Remarkable may begin to sum the activities, disappointing certainly crowds all adjectives when applied to my efforts to find us new, affordable space, and the tightening of vision when I observe the endurance of the forward measure of the daily artist creation.
The holidays seem to have the shining reflection of candlelight in our darker corners of the calendar here, but warm the light with the reach to remember. I requested artists to send photos of work in progress, or in memory, photos of a seasonal celebration, or current, and make the connection in a sampler for ourselves, and the patrons who choose Cannibals companions. I hope to have the news that we have a place to rewind the pathway, and that the gallery can begin to show the work everyone has been busy composing. Until then, here is a small list of announcements of some of the community's sightings. Just like the fabled Whitman's Sampler, Greg has melded this short holiday gift for us all. Happy Holidays..
