Cannibals Gallery Is In 
The BIG APPLE!

Eleven artists from "Canniibals Portland" are now showing their work at the Celebration of Whimsy Theater in the East Village of NYC for two months...July and August, 2013

Our new Cannibals show is up in the great New York City, thanks to our good friend, Stephen Michael Rondel.   He has offered us space to show the citizens of New York City just how we install a show of our Pacific Northwest artist visions.  My hostess, patron and amateur art hanger, Sally Cohen was instrumental in helping this showcase materialize.  She generously permitted her residence to act as destination for the incoming art, and became a diligent organizer, chauffeur and  hardware sleuth for the showcase.   Many thanks to all who took the chance to brave the shipping nightmares, and send work.  They include:  Greg Hanson, Jason Berlin, Larry Cwik, Stephen Walter, Darlene Schaper, Alex Lilly, Jason Stewart, LeeAnn Gauthier, Mark Crummet, Denise Althea Graham, and Joshua Zirschky.  The work looks great, and Stephen mentioned that during the month of August, the International Fringe Festival, will be holding performances for 120 plus people per performance, twice a day for three weeks!  All those international eyes focused.  
Sensational!!!   The show will be up through the first of September, so if you have people in New York for the performances of the Festival give them the news they can see our local talent.

Chic classiques and candy colored art by LeeAnn Gauthier through July

Chic classic cars (think hearse!) from Cuba, San Juan's famed cemetery, a mystifying abstract, and a lustrous night scene from SE Grand on metal are amongst the treasures by photographer LeeAnn Gauthier at St. John's Leisure Public House through July 31.  Enjoy the art of the Bloody Mary on their green patio weekdays (3 pm to 1 ish) and weekends (noon to 1 ish).  LeeAnn can entertain art trades for auto body repair or massage.
